Plan, counsel and sell travel services to potential customers
Proficient in booking transportation, flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, tours, and excursions through various supplier channels.
Working proficiency in multi system environment.
Consult published and computer-based resources for information on departure and arrival times, fares, and hotel ratings and accommodations
Sell a full range of preferred supplier products in order to meet and exceed targets
Invoice and document client files accurately
Action, and execute all necessary requirements to fulfill travel arrangement requests for the client
Well versed in travel product, services and suppliers for the Canadian Market
Assist in the resolution of client complaints
Other duties as assigned
Who are you?

Ability to manage conflicting priorities to ensure customer satisfaction levels
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Mississauga location
Able to work rotating shifts to cover full hours of operation (including weekends)
2-3 years of Travel Industry experience is an asset
Bilingual, other language speaking is an asset

Must have current experience as an International Travel Agent, Proficient on SABRE and knowledge of the downtown Washington DC Area.
Must be flexible to work either 9:30 am – 6:30 pm EST or 10:00 am – 7:00 pm EST
At least 5 years of experience as an International corporate travel consultant
Strong knowledge of downtown Washington, DC
Recent experience with, and high proficiency in SABRE

International Tour Operations Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of International Operations and Vice President of Operations, the position will be responsible for the daily operations of our international tour programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare passenger manifests, rooming lists and other lists as needed per departure
Manage group departure files as handed off from product development
Communicate program requirements to suppliers on a timely basis
Efficiently update suppliers with all changes from pre-departure through operation of the tour
Research information and create passenger documentation (itineraries, general information documents, etc.)
Process passenger documents and prepare the mailings
Review supplier invoices and process payments
Prepare onboard materials for river cruises and coordinate with Marketing Dept to ensure timely delivery
Prepare Tour Manager / Cruise Director trip materials and ensure timely delivery
Monitor counts in reservation system to ensure no overbooking
Run reports to maintain accurate counts on optional excursions and coordinate components with suppliers accordingly
Assist with any other projects as needed
Work as a team member with other staff within the department and company
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Experience with international contracts and foreign currency conversions
Travel industry experience - international destinations
Intermediate to Advanced skills with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
International travel experience helpful
Mayflower Cruises & Tours
Air Reservations and Ticketing Coordinator
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Air Department and the Vice President of Operations, the position will be involved with the daily operations of our air department – booking and ticketing air for Mayflower Cruises and Tours’ tour programs.
Booking and ticketing of air for domestic and international itineraries.
Working with group air contracts to manage utilization and ticketing deadlines.
Working with airlines to secure seat assignments and upgrades.
Communication with the inside sales team on air schedules, seat, and special requests.
Working as a team with other staff within the department
Minimum of 2 years of GDS experience, preferably Amadeus.
Skill with air pricing, booking, ticketing, exchanges, refunds etc.
Good understanding of airline contracts, bulk rates agreements and ticketing requirements to comply with these agreements.
Experience working with group fares and airline group contracts.
Thorough knowledge of travel industry rules.
Must also be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
